A common question that I come across about essential oils and diffusers is, how many drops of essential oils to use in a diffuser. Well the answer to this question depends on what size diffuser you have.

Diffuser size

Standard diffusers range in size from 100 ml to 500 ml. So before you can find out the amount of essential oils drops to use, you need to know the size of your diffuser tank. The area where you add the essential oils/water mixture to.

Remember though that with essential oils, LESS IS MORE! Especially if you are known to have sensitivity. As well as when children and pets are around. When in doubt use the lesser amount!

I’ve used a diffuser before but find myself putting more oil in than I need to, especially after reading your post! I definitely took away that less is more! I really like your table that you made for the different amounts and sizes too. Great resource!
