Have you ever looked up dust?
According to the dictionary Dust is a fine, dry powder consisting of tiny particles of earth or waste matter lying on the ground or on surfaces or carried in the air.
Waste matter… Did you read that? Dust isn’t only dirt from outside but it’s also dead skin cells, pet dander, pollen, bug waste and particles and really anything that’s not supposed to be there.
Do you have wood furniture that has a layer of dust begging to be cleaned like my TV armoire?

DIY Reusable Dusting Rags
You will need:
- 2 or 3 microfiber rags
- A large bowl
- 1 1/2 cup of warm water
- 1/4 cup vinegar
- 10-15 drops of essential oil(s) of your choice
- I typically use citrus oils like lemon, orange, and grapefruit.
Mix water, vinegar and essential oils in a large bowl and give a good mix.
Put 2 or 3 microfiber rags into the bowl.
Allow rags to sit until all liquid absorbs. You might want to give them a couple of flips and squeezes to make sure the entire rag gets wet.
Once all the liquid had been absorbed give the rags a good squeeze to remove the extra water.
Then, dry the dusting rags for 1 to 2 hours out in the sun until they are almost fully dry.
Once the dusting rags are dry they are ready to use.
The rags can also be stored in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.
So clean and shiny
Just wipe away the dust and viola nice shiny wood furniture!
